Fantasy Fest 2016 landed right in the middle of an election year, and Sloppy Joe’s ran its own campaign. This charcoal gray T-shirt is from Sloppy Joe’s 2016 Fantasy Week collection, and it’s brand new, never worn.
The large full-color back print mixes red-white-and-blue patriotism with Fantasy Fest voodoo. A fanged, red-eyed ghoul in a stars-and-stripes top hat towers over the bar, while the Sloppy Joe’s building is decked out with striped columns and bunting under a fiery sunset and purple palm trees. Out front, a reveler in a stars-and-stripes outfit waves a “Vote for ‘Sloppy’ Joe” sign, a crowd in togas parties beside a “Vote Sloppy – Vote Here” sign, and a crooked wooden sign topped with a skull, a crow, and Mardi Gras beads invites everyone to “Do Your Voodoo Voting Here.” Crossed bones, stars, and bold “Fantasy Week – Key West 2016” lettering finish the design beneath the big blue “Sloppy Joe’s” logo.
The front has a smaller left-chest version with the top-hatted ghoul, the Sloppy Joe’s logo, and “Fantasy Week – Key West 2016.”
It’s a fun, one-of-a-kind souvenir for Fantasy Fest fans and Sloppy Joe’s collectors.
