Sloppy Joe’s Foundation – Our Event Sponsorship Process

Since 1937, the Sloppy Joe’s legacy has been a cornerstone built on tradition and giving back to our island community. The creation in 2024 of the Sloppy Joe’s Foundation continues that legacy of caring for the people and the island we all love.

Our mission is to create a lasting impact that unites individuals and organizations to nurture our community’s growth and well-being. We do that through financial contributions to local charitable and civic nonprofits serving our youth, individuals, and families, as well as art, cultural, and environmental preservation.

The Sloppy Joe’s Foundation is establishing a formal grant-making process to be announced later in 2025. In the meantime, the foundation has established a grant request process for local organizations seeking support.

While we prefer to provide grants to support programs, we will also consider sponsorship requests.

Before you complete our sponsorship application, please be clear that your organization meets the mission criteria listed here:

The IRS recognizes your organization as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit charitable organization.
Your organization serves Key West.
Your organization meets one of our mission areas and does so by serving youth, individuals, and families, providing art and cultural enrichment for our residents, or preserving the environment.
Your request should include completing our sponsorship request form below and submitting it at least three months before you need the funding. Please upload a sponsorship package outlining the giving levels and benefits for each.
